Taylor's Maid-Right

One of the first things we did on our trip to Iowa was have lunch at Taylor's Maid-Right in Marshalltown. What is a Maid-Right?...Only the best sandwich ever!
A Taylor's Maid-Rite is a loose meat sandwich made of finely ground hamburger. The hamburger is cooked and put in a bun, then served traditionally with mustard, pickles and chopped onions. And now after 70 yrs - ketchup is now available on the counter! Whoo hoo! Taylor's has been in Marshalltown since 1928.

Ivars Seafood Restaurant

Ivars Seaffod is Seattle's best seafood joint. Ivars is located on Seattle's historic waterfront at Pier #54.
We ate outside on the deck where you are encouraged to feed the seagulls.
We had a waterfront view of Puget Sound and Fire Station #3’s waterside operations, where my uncle Mark worked.
I ordered the Oysters 'N Chips but gave away half of the fries to the seagulls.
