I had bubble and squeak recently at The Big Breakfast restaurant in Forest Hill. Bubble and Squeak is a traditional English dish made with leftover vegetables. The chief ingredients are potato and cabbage, but other vegetables can be added (our's just had potatoes and cabbage). It was OK after we added ketchup, but I probably don't need to order it again.

It leaves you wondering how far back it has to be for it to be "traditional". it doesn't look appitizing but if it were the only thing available, then maybe I suppose.
Good for you for trying it! (that's what I say to my kids about lettuce) hahahaha
