London's Heaviest Snowfall in 18 years

BBC NEWS HEADLINE THIS MORNING: Thousands of people are unable to travel as London's transport network has been disrupted due to snow.

The entire bus network and three Underground lines - the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Waterloo & City lines - have been suspended. Severe delays on all Rail Lines. Travel chaos.

London City Airport has been closed, while both runways are shut at Heathrow.

The Met Office has issued an extreme weather warning for England, Wales and parts of eastern Scotland. More snow is forecast later on Tuesday.

Thousands of school children across England woke up to the news their school was closed for the day.

This is London's heaviest snowfall in 18 years...The snow fall amounts to 6 inches. Everybody Panic.

Very pretty indeed but is freaking out about 6 inches of snow like people in LA freaking out about a small amount of precipitation in the air? Traffic stops. Schools are delayed. It's all very silly to people living in the Northwest.
I suppose we freak out over weather that people in Alaska consider to be spring time.
It's all relative.
However, glad YOU got some fun winter white to pretty up the city!!
